European building can substantially reduce energy demand by 2050 with the state-of-the-art building constructions and renovation

Using a bottom-up energy demand model which depicts the demand for three key end-uses across all the EU MS and UK, we find that 74% and 69% of the energy demand can be reduced by 2050 by implementing state of the art technology and construction.
